A taxi with 4 people sharing should be around £22.50 each and the journey takes about 1 hour. Stansted Airport: Stansted Express trains to Liverpool Street station take approximately 40 minutes and fares are around £12. A taxi will charge about £100 for the 1 hour trip. Luton airport: The shuttle bus from Luton Airport Parkway connects with the train to St. Pancras Station. The journey takes around 40 minutes and costs about £15. A cheap hostel might cost about £20 while hotels are upwards of £40 per night. A single ticket for London buses, trains and underground costs about £5.70 while one day Travelcards are £12 to £15. Oyster cards give a discount on travel and the £5 deposit is refundable.
