Best Time to Travel to Dubai

Dubai is a year-round destination with a comfortably subtropical climate. The best time of year to visit, however, is from October to April, when temperatures are lower in the 25°- 35° C range. Local transport in Dubai

When looking for transport from the airport to city centre, head to Terminals 1 and 3. The red line metro stops here every 10 minutes. The green line stops at the Airport Free Zone near terminal 2. Catch either metro from Saturday till Thursday from 6 am to 11 pm, and Fridays from 1 pm to midnight. Approximate ticket prices are 4 AED for 1 zone, 6 AED for 2 zones and 8.50 AED for 3 zones. The red ticket is convenient and cheap for tourists. It offers a maximum of 10 journeys and is valid for 90 days. Buses stop at all terminals from 6 am until 10 pm. Catch bus numbers 4,11,15,33 and 44.  
When looking for a place to stay, budget accommodation in hostels is available from around 100 AED in dorms. A single hotel room typically costs about AED 800. Book early during the peak season from September through May. Cheap public transport costs around 4 AED for one ticket on the metro or bus. Transport is 50 percent cheaper with the red ticket. Taxi prices tend to be much higher than public transport.
