Located in the Hansol area near the riverbanks, the airport offers a variety of transfer options, including taxis and buses. When opting for taxis, make use of prepaid booths located at the airport. The taxis operate from outside Terminal 1 and average trip time varies depending on traffic. AMTS buses ply the airport to city direct route; the service is affordable, but is limited and not ideal for travellers with bulky luggage. The airport's information desk is located in Terminal 2. Ahmedabad boasts various types of accommodation to suit varying budgets and preferences. If you are looking for a luxury hotel that will pander to your every whim, you can find one close to Nehru Bridge on the east bank of the Sabarmati.
